As your ambassador program scales, so does the complexity of team collaboration. Having multiple users with the same unrestricted access can lead to accidental changes, confusion, or even exposure to sensitive data. Role-Based Access Controls eliminate that risk by creating clear boundaries for each team member. Whether you’re onboarding new hires or working with contractors, you can now assign just the right level of access for their role. This not only boosts internal efficiency; it also creates peace of mind, knowing that every user sees only what’s relevant to them, and nothing more.

What’s New in BrandChamp

With this update, you can:

• Choose Full or Partial Access for each user:
  • Full Access: View and manage everything, including inviting new users and editing permissions.
  • Partial Access: Select only the sections each person should see.
• Hide unassigned sections:
  Any module a user doesn’t have access to will simply disappear from their navigation, creating a cleaner experience.
• Restrict self-management:
  Users with partial access cannot change their own permissions or grant themselves more access.

How It Works

Setting up the Role-Based Access Controls is simple:

1. Invite New Users
   Go to Settings → User Management, click Invite User, and choose Full or Partial Access. If you select Partial Access, you’ll see checkboxes to pick exactly which sections the user can access.
2. Edit Existing Users
   Click Edit Access next to any user to update their permissions anytime.
3. Disable Access When Needed
   Quickly remove access by clicking Disable, moving the user to an inactive state until you re-enable them.

If a user tries to access a restricted area directly, they’ll see an “Access Denied” message, ensuring your data stays protected.
